Finding the Distance Between Two Points #1

Practice calculating distance in this essential eighth-grade worksheet! In these eight problems, students will be asked to find the distance between two points listed as ordered pairs. The problems do not include coordinate planes or images, so students will have to practice this skill without a visual aid. 

This worksheet is designed to give students the opportunity to apply the Pythagorean theorem and the distance formula to problems without using visuals to guide them. The ability to easily calculate distance is vital for students as they build on their geometry skills and learn more math formulas.
