Find Words That Rhyme

Test your child's mastery of the rhyme with this worksheet that challenges them to fill in the blanks in the rhyme-filled poem "Cats on a Mat." A helpful word bank will provide them with a few different options for rhyming pairs. Once they've successfully completed the poem, they can recite it, a great way to practice reading aloud. Continue with the rhyming fun by having your child go rhyme hunting in a book that includes lots of rhyming pairs. Then have them record some of the rhymes on the rhyming slippers coloring page. Once they're finished finding rhyming pairs, they can work out those fine motor skills by giving the pairs of slippers a little color.
