Worksheet
Find the Tricky Rhymes #2
It’s prime time to learn to rhyme! Learn about rhyming words that end with the same sound but different spellings. In each of the 12 questions in this worksheet, learners will pick the two rhyming words from a set of four. Then, they’ll be prompted to write their own rhyming pair. Remember, words only rhyme when they have the same ending sound!
This worksheet was designed for first and second graders working on their phonics skills. Students can build their phonemic awareness as they consider how different spelling patterns can make the same or similar sounds. Learners can also practice reading complex diphthongs and digraphs.
