Worksheet

Find the Scale Factor #2

Evaluate the relative size of shapes and find out what you would need to multiply the dimensions of one shape by to get the dimensions of a similar shape! This worksheet challenges students to look at two different shapes and find the scale factor between them based on the given side lengths.

Seventh graders who are learning geometry skills would benefit most from this worksheet. Students can practice identifying scale factors, matching up corresponding sides, and simplifying ratios. Learners can also gain a better understanding of what it means for two shapes to be similar in geometry.
