Find the Scale Factor #1

Practice resizing shapes and finding their scale factor with this helpful worksheet! In each of these six problems, learners will be presented with a scaled pair of similar polygons. Two sides of each polygon are labeled with the length. Students will need to use these side lengths to find the scale factor of the polygons. 

This worksheet was designed for a seventh-grade curriculum and is a great way to boost students’ understanding of scale factors and the concept of similarity. Learners can also practice identifying corresponding sides in similar polygons and working with ratios to calculate scale.
