Fill in the Blanks Story: Beach

A trip to the beach takes a crazy turn! Students in third grade showcase their parts of speech knowledge by completing a fun Mad Lib story with this grammar and mechanics worksheet.

Without reading any of the story, students start by filling in all of the blank lines. Each blank line is labeled with a part of speech. Students think of a word that fits the labeled part of speech and write it on the blank line. Once all of the blanks are filled in, students read their fun stories. The parts of speech used on this worksheet are nouns, verbs, and adjectives.
