Practice identifying metaphors with this fun, summer-themed figurative language maze! Geared toward middle-grade learners, this figurative language worksheet invites students to find the path through the maze by identifying only the spaces containing metaphors. As they follow the path from start to finish, students will have the opportunity to show their knowledge of literary devices by identifying only the metaphors while avoiding similes and other figurative language techniques. When they've completed the maze, learners will record each letter they passed to complete the mystery metaphor at the bottom of the page.
