Estimating Mass: At the Zoo

From the tiniest ant to the biggest elephant, every animal has a mass! Guess how massive different animals are in this charming third-grade worksheet. Learners will be shown nine different animals, each with two potential mass measurements in grams and kilograms. Students will need to decide which measurement would be a better estimate for each animal. 

This worksheet is a fun way to build students’ estimation skills with mass in the metric system.
