Edit the Articles #3

Take a trip to the mountains while learning about articles in this grammar worksheet! In each of eight sentences, students must circle the article and determine whether or not it is used correctly. If the article is correct, young writers will color in the happy face. If the article is incorrect, learners are asked to color in the sad face and rewrite the sentence using the proper article.

Throughout this activity, first and second graders will learn how and where the articles a and an are used in a sentence. Students can write with more detail and clarity by adding articles, helping to strengthen their writing abilities! Learners can also develop their editing skills as they rewrite the incorrect sentences.
