Earth's Spheres

Discover Earth’s different spheres with this fourth- and fifth-grade earth science activity! In this worksheet, students will first learn about the biosphere, atmosphere, geosphere, and hydrosphere. Learners are then asked to color-code a picture according to the sphere in which each item belongs. Students can then relate these terms to their everyday lives by providing examples of items that are part of two different spheres.

This worksheet will help students become familiar with the definitions of and the objects within each of Earth’s spheres.
