Doubles Plus Two and Doubles Minus Two #1

Solve near-doubles facts with this appealing worksheet! In each of these nine problems, students will be presented with a completed doubles fact and an incomplete near-doubles fact that they can solve by adding or subtracting two from the sum of the doubles fact. 

This worksheet is a great way for first and second graders to improve their fact fluency and practice using the near-doubles strategy to solve addition problems. This strategy gives students the ability to quickly and accurately complete addition facts within 20.
