Worksheet

Cut and Paste Rhymes #3

This rhyming worksheet is pretty neat! Have fun learning about phonics and patterns in words with this hands-on activity! Students will be asked to cut out the words at the bottom of the page, then paste them next to the rhyming word above. This worksheet has four-letter rhyming word pairs including hope/rope and kite/bite

Intended for first and second graders, this worksheet is a good choice for students learning to read and recognize patterns in words! A lot of early literacy depends on students’ ability to identify patterns in the sounds words make and the way they are spelled. Practice with rhyming words can help develop students’ phonemic awareness and decoding abilities.
