Cut and Paste Rhymes #1

It’s always a great time to learn to rhyme! In this worksheet, students will need to first cut out each of the 10 words at the bottom of the page. Then, they’ll paste those words next to the rhyming word above. This worksheet contains pairs of rhyming CVC words such as sit/fit and fun/run. 

This hands-on worksheet is a great activity for kindergarteners and first graders working on their early reading and phonics skills. Practice with rhyming words can help develop students’ phonemic awareness, which supports decoding skills. Repetition of sounds and patterns in words is also crucial for early literacy!
