Creative Writing: Science Fiction

Science fiction is a kind of literature that uses scientific concepts. It can be about imaginary technology advancements such as spaceships, time machines, or robots. Or the story could play with other scientific ideas like traveling through time or to different futuristic or through space to other fictional worlds. Sometimes science fiction stories have alien creatures. Let your students choose a scientific concept that they want to base their story on and then, just for fun, ask them to write a few pages of a science fiction story.
