Correlative Conjunctions: Dynamic Duos

The more conjunctions, the merrier! Learn to use pairs of correlative conjunctions in this music-themed worksheet! In part one, learners will read eight unfinished sentences and fill in the correlative conjunction that best completes each sentence. Then in part two, students will be asked to correct an error in each of three sentences by changing one of the correlative conjunctions. 

This worksheet is intended for use by sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. It’s an engaging way to practice correctly using correlative conjunctions to combine nouns, verbs, and phrases in a variety of sentences. Students will be able to see what both correct and incorrect usages of correlative conjunctions look like. They’ll also work on their grammar editing skills!
