Worksheet
Converting Nontraditional Expanded Form to Standard Form
Write numbers in standard form based on nontraditional expanded form with this helpful worksheet! Students will read each nontraditional number name, each of which includes numerals and words, and represents a multi-digit number up to the hundreds of thousands. Then, students will write the numeric form of the number described.
This fourth-grade worksheet can challenge students to apply their knowledge of place value and expanded form to a number form they may not have seen before. Students will practice finding the value of each expression and practice writing multi-digit numbers.
