Comparing Book Series

This worksheet is used with examples of the two kinds of book series, episodic and epic. It can be used on its own to teach fifth grade readers about the different kinds of book series, or it can be used as part of our lesson plan: Comparing and Contrasting Books in a Series. In this exercise, students explore the two examples of series and through exploration and discussion, they discover the difference between the two kinds of book series.
