Color by Simple Subtraction

Subtract your way to a fanciful fish! First graders work on their horizontal and vertical simple subtraction skills on this color-by-answer worksheet.

Students solve 11 single-digit subtraction problems and then use the answer codes at the top of the page to figure out which color goes in each section. There are four possible answers and four corresponding colors: orange, blue, green, or yellow. Coloring in the spaces and seeing the final result makes learning subtraction fun and rewarding!
