Color by Word #1

Take color by number to a whole new level with this hands-on worksheet! Students are asked to read the CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) word in each section of the picture, then fill in that section with the corresponding color. When learners have finished coloring, they will have a picture of a beautiful butterfly! 

This kindergarten worksheet is a great activity to help learners practice reading a variety of CVC words that start with the letter T. While completing the picture, students can learn to more quickly identify short words and practice differentiating between vowel sounds.
