Circle the Number

Count stars, circles, triangles, and squares in this colorful preschool worksheet! Young learners will be shown 11 different groups of shapes. For each group, students will count the number of shapes, then circle the number that matches the amount. 

This counting activity will help learners build foundational math skills and sharpen their number sense. As students practice counting and identifying numbers 1–10, they will begin to understand how a number corresponds to an amount. Having a thorough understanding of single-digit numbers is necessary for learning to add, subtract, and count above 10.
