Changing Passive Voice to Active Voice #2

Students get helpful practice changing passive voice to active voice in the second installment of this eighth-grade grammar and writing worksheet! In grammar, voice communicates whether the subject of a clause performs or receives the verb's action. After reading a brief introduction that includes helpful examples and explanations, students are invited to read and rewrite five sentences to use an active voice rather than the given passive voice. Learners are also asked to identify the implied performer (or implied subject) from each original sentence. Students will need to decode context clues from the original sentences in order to rewrite them correctly. Don't miss the Changing Passive Voice to Active Voice #1 worksheet for extra practice!
