Celebrating Our Garden of Differences

In an effort to develop gratitude for diverstiy, it can be helpful to first identify what makes individuals unique. In this worksheet geared toward kindergarteners and first graders, children will draw pictures inside flower petals to represent their favorite things. The end result will be a unique and beautiful flower from each student that, when hung on the wall together, creates a diverse garden. In celebrating our garden of differences, students will gain social emotional skills around social awareness, empathy, and gratitude.
