Worksheet

Build a City: Compose Numbers 6–8

Let the construction begin! Learners will use number sentences to make buildings in this inviting addition worksheet! Students will be asked to decide how many unique addition number sentences can be used to construct each number from 6 to 8. Then, they will need to write out all of those number sentences to finish each building.

Intended for second graders, this worksheet is a fantastic option for reviewing basic addition facts. Learners will be able to clearly see all of the number sentences with the same sum in one place, helping them master their addition skills. They’ll also show that the sum of an addition problem will be the same regardless of the order of the addends.
