Better Together: Combining Sentences #3

Enhance your writing by revising sentences in this grammar worksheet! In each problem, students will read two simple sentences, then either combine the subject or predicate to make a single sentence.

Practicing editing and revising is a great way for third and fourth graders to learn how to strengthen writing. Knowing how to fix repetitive or inefficient language is a helpful skill for students to have as they begin to write more complex pieces. Writing effectively and concisely is important both inside and outside of the classroom!

This worksheet is the last in a series of three. Be sure to try Better Together: Combining Sentences #1 and Better Together: Combining Sentences #2, and check out the Better Together: Introduction to Combining Sentences handout!
