Scale up your number knowledge with this bright, inviting worksheet! Students will be asked to look at eight sets of base ten blocks including thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones. Then, they’ll need to find the appropriate word form from the word bank and write it next to the matching base ten set.

This fourth-grade worksheet is a fantastic choice for helping students recognize the ways that place value translates to word form. Students can also become more familiar with the different place values up to the thousands place. These skills are foundational for students’ ability to talk about the math they are learning.
