Worksheet

Area of Quadrilaterals

Calculate the area of four-sided shapes in this seventh-grade math worksheet! In six problems, students will be asked to solve for the area of a variety of quadrilaterals, including trapezoids, parallelograms, and kites. The diagrams tell students the relevant lengths and widths of the shapes; all students need to do is decide how to use that information!

This worksheet is a perfect activity to help young mathematicians get more comfortable finding the area of shapes beyond just squares and rectangles. A familiarity with methods of finding area will be vital for students as they learn more difficult geometry. Learners may even use these skills in their real lives!
