An Interview With the New Year
Welcome to 2025! Before you embark on a year-long adventure, 2025 has a few questions for you. In this lively, creative exercise, students will reflect on the past year and share their predictions and hopes for the year to come. Students will also answer questions about their favorite and least favorite months, goals they have for themselves and the world, and what they think the new year might look like if it were a physical being. At the end, learners can draw a picture of themselves doing something fun with their interviewer, the year 2025!
Designed for second through fifth graders, this endearing four-page worksheet makes a fun classroom activity, as well as a great New Year's Eve project. Students will practice their writing skills while they learn to set reasonable goals, make associations between abstract concepts and physical sensations, and have fun imagining what could happen in 2025. Happy New Year!
