Addition to 10: Adding Bugs

Try adding groups of bees, butterflies, and other assorted bugs in this beneficial worksheet! These six problems each present students with two groups of bugs, each representing an addend in a provided addition sentence. Learners can count the bugs to help them add and find the sum of each equation. 

This worksheet is intended to help kindergarteners and first graders better understand and conceptualize addition. The images help learners associate groups of items with representative numerals. Learners will also build their subitization skills and their addition fact fluency within 10.
