Adding Tens on an Open Number Line #3

Get ready for more practice using an open number line with the third installment of this colorful addition worksheet! Geared toward first-grade math learners, this worksheet gives students practice using properties of operations and a number line to add a two-digit multiple of ten to a second two-digit whole number. For each of the five addition problems, students will start by plotting the first two-digit addend on the open number line. From there, students will mark the addition of each of the tens that make up the second addend until they get to the answer.

The last in a series of three, this worksheet is a great way to give students important practice using a concrete model to visualize finding the sum of two numbers.
