Worksheet

Adding Tens and Ones #1

Tackle two-digit addition with place value charts in this helpful worksheet! Learners will be asked to solve six addition problems whose addends are both two-digit numbers. The place value charts can help students separate the numbers into tens and ones and add each place on its own. There is no regrouping required for any of these problems.

This worksheet was designed to help first and second graders work on their place value skills and visually organize two-digit addition problems. A strong understanding of place value is invaluable for young mathematicians, especially as they begin to practice addition and subtraction with three or more digits!

Keep practicing with the next two worksheets in this series, Adding Tens and Ones #2 and Adding Tens and Ones #3.
