Add Using Compensation: Ten Frame Models #2

Practice addition under 20 with visual models in this useful math worksheet! Each of the six problems includes a set of ten frames that represent the addends in the corresponding addition equation. Learners will need to move dots from the second frame to the first frame to make ten, then count on to find the sum.

Intended for kindergarten through second-grade students, this worksheet can be a good warm-up or review activity, or try using it to accompany a lesson on addition! As they work on these problems, learners can practice the strategy of making ten and build on their number sense.
