Worksheet
Add Two-Digit Numbers Using a Hundred Chart
Sharpen learners’ hundred chart know-how with this addition worksheet! In this practice, second graders will use a hundred chart to solve 15 addition problems. Students will find the first addend on the hundred chart, then use their knowledge of place value to break the second addend into tens and ones. To figure out the sum, learners will move down one row to add 10s and move right to add ones.
Using a hundred chart is a great strategy for visualizing addition and recognizing number patterns. Adding two-digit numbers will also allow students to reinforce their place value knowledge and sharpen their fluency with numbers up to 100.
