Whose Point Is It Anyway?
What if Cinderella’s stepsisters weren’t really evil? In this engaging lesson, you will introduce your students to multiple points of view and discuss how these different perspectives can change a reader’s experience.

Students will be able to compare two different points of view and analyze how they shape a reader’s perspective.
Introduction
(5 minutes)- Ask student volunteers to retell the story "Three Little Pigs" from memory. Work as a class to recall key details.
- Tell students that today we are going to learn about point of view and how different points of view can shape a story.
Beginning
- Allow students to use their home language (L1) or new language (L2) when they recount the story in pairs.
Intermediate
- Choose a text that is familiar to ELs so they can recite that story aloud.
