Help your students become everyday heroes through recycling. In the lesson plan Save the Earth: Recycle, first graders and second graders are asked to think about the ideas of recycling and conservation. Teachers introduce and explore how recyclable items are collected and sorted, before being manufactured into new objects. Kids will practice identifying recycled materials and what things they can recycle in everyday life.
