Introduction

(5 minutes)
  • Begin the lesson with an introduction to onomatopoeias. Explain that onomatopoeias are words that imitate the sounds of their source. For example, "buzz," which is used to describe the noise that bees make, actually sounds like that noise. Likewise, the word "woof" sounds like the barking of a dog.
