Help your ELs learn to understand and differentiate between fact and opinion through the analysis of nonfiction text. This can be a stand-alone lesson or a support lesson to the Fact or Opinion: Part 1 lesson plan.

Introduction
(2 minutes)- Project and complete the Frayer Model worksheet for the word fact, and check student comprehension throughout by asking students to orally repeat the definition or provide examples.
- Tell students that today they will analyze sentences to help them understand how to find the difference between facts and opinions.
