Our Take: In first grade, kids should no longer need to start counting from the number 1; they count to 120 starting at any number less than 120. Whether recording a certain number of objects or solving problems, students should also be able to read and write numbers within this range. One way students can practice this skill is by writing in missing numbers on fill-in-the-blank worksheets.
