Painted Pumpkin Faces
It's important to recognize feelings. Teach your child that they can tell how other people are feeling by looking at the expressions on their faces. Halloween is a great opportunity to look around and see faces that are funny, scary, happy and sad. Your child can test out their understanding of facial features while trying to illustrate an emotion on a pumpkin using only paint! After your child decides on what emotion to paint on the pumpkin, they should paint it onto the pumpkin. See if you can guess what emotion your child is trying to communicate on the pumpkin.
