Football Craft

What You Need:

• Brown paper bag
• Scissors
• Brown construction paper
• White construction paper
• Thin color markers
• Pencil
• Glue
• Double-sided tape

What You Do:

1. Help your child draw a football shape on brown construction paper. If you have a real football at home, use this as a reference.
2. Let them use scissors to cut out the football shape.
3. Have your child draw the football's stitching in pencil on white paper.
4. Help them cut the stitching out.  
5. Next, show them how to trace their brown football on another sheet of white construction paper.
6. Have them draw the football stripes on the white paper.
7. Let your child cut the stripes out.
8. Time to put the football together! Help them glue the white stitching and stripes onto their brown football paper.
9. Show them how to trace the outside of the football, along with the stitching and white shapes, with a black marker. This will make the entire football stand out more.
10. Use double stick tape to glue the football to the paper bag.
11. Let the entire bag dry for a couple of hours.
12. Have your child fill their football craft with healthy food or yummy snacks to enjoy while showing off their team spirit!

If your child has a favorite football team, help them print out their logo or draw it on the bag!
