Fluffy Sheep

What You Need:

• Black tempera paint
• Paintbrush
• Cotton balls
• Ribbon
• Construction paper
• Glue
• Googly eye

What You Do:

1. Help paint your child's hand with black paint, then have her stamp her handprint in the center of a sheet of construction paper. Gently press down on her hand and each of her fingers to get a good solid print. You may want to practice on newspaper a couple of times. Allow the paint to dry.
2. Have her dip cotton balls in glue and place them onto the black handprint, leaving only the fingertips black with no cotton balls covering them. The fingertips will become the sheep's legs and face.
3. She can glue the googly eye on the thumb, where the sheep's face is located.
4. To finish the sheep, help her tie a small bow that she can glue below the eye, on the sheep's neck.

You could also make this craft into a greeting card by starting with a folded sheet of paper.
