Activity
Acts of Kindness for the Earth
Taking care of the Earth by making choices to conserve and save energy is important for the longevity of the planet. In this social emotional learning activity, fourth and fifth graders will reflect on the importance of performing acts of kindness for the Earth and hear a story about easy ways they can care for the Earth. Then they will set goals to conserve more, reflecting on how it went after one week. This activity is a great way to help children understand the role they can play in protecting the planet while building mindfulness and social awareness.
