Make Paper Towel Ghosts

What You Need:

• 2 paper towels
• 1 white twist tie (from a sandwich bag, or box of garbage bags)
• 1 black marker
• A needle, scissors and white thread

What You Do:

1. Hand your child a paper towel and have her crumple it into a tight, little ball.
2. Place it in the middle of the other paper towel. Take the corners of the second paper towel up and over the crumpled one, like you're going to make a sack. Then squeeze the paper towel around the ball, and use the twist tie to fasten it closed.
3. Flip it over, and you'll have a ghost!
4. Use the black marker to draw a ghoulish or silly face on the ghost.
5. Thread the needle and draw a strand of white thread through the ghost's head, knotting it in a loop.
6. Make a few more with different faces, and hang them from windows or doorknobs for a boo-tiful Halloween surprise!
